Each time I wake up in the morning, I think of this country in
perspective the matter is very worrisome as if we the citizens of this country like
to play politics on in all issues around us in this country and this is how it all started ;
-
The last time Nigeria is been counted by Nigeria
Population Census (NPC) is year 2006 during the regime of President Olusegun
Obasanjo with the results of over 150 millions Nigerians and since then no any
other exercises comes up but now the rumor is that we are over 200 millions
Nigerians where is the statistics to show for this, with the rate of insurgents
and Fulani herdsmen attacks here and there all over the states.
-
The issue of herdsmen killing people we all
attack the present administration President Muhammadu Buhari because he is a
Fulani man, people said he tolerate his people to caused the massacres all over
the country between the farmers and the Fulani herdsmen, but we have forgetting
about the bokoharam insurgency that they
have been captured and defeated by Nigerian military, may be those who sponsored the bokoharam people are now sponsoring
the Fulani herdsmen to divert the attention of the international community’s
into another topic on security challenges in the country.
-
We also call for borders control when the issues
of security challenges arise and we now forget that whenever they ask the borders
authority to close our borders for some certain issues there are a lot of
negative impact on the business environment and economy status of the country because
we depend a lot on other countries for foods and other materials since we are
unable to produce what we can eat. And also the securities officers around the
borders do what they were not ask them to do in other to take advantage on the
masses.
-
Whenever they ask military people to handle security
issues we say we are in democratic setting but forgetting that most of our
Nigerian police are not qualified to be a security person dues to incompetence
in discharge of duties, we call for community policing or state police many people
said we are not ripe to establish this because governors we take advantage on
the oppositions in the state but what about the Nigerian police itself. The
international standard of the policy to police the nation is 20% of the total population,
what is the population of the Nigerian police force even all together the security
agencies in Nigeria are they up to 10% of the population.
-
The other one is that we all shout about the
rate of unemployment in the country for the youth and graduates of the day, but
the question is that; what do you study in school? Do you have passion for what
you study? Where do you aim to work after the graduation? How brilliant are you?
Do you even face your study well when you are in school? Do you plan to be a
mover and shaker after the study? Who wrote your GCE or SSCE exam for you? What
about Jamb? What about special centers? What age do you graduate? Because, now
most firms call for 22-25years old for entry stage for employment, can you even
face an interview at all? What impact you can bring to the organization after
you are employed?
-
Most of Nigerian youth sit at home and they make
money , yes I know what am saying because we don’t want to face challenges,
even if they were even offer a job are they ready to get it because of stress
or challenges and the types of laziness on the part of Nigerian youths is
something else to talk about. They are now riding big cars and building houses
without leaving their home to work, I think you understand what am talking
about. If any government challenges them where they see that money here comes a
problems.
-
The rising and falling of naira to other
currencies are you ok when it rise and are you not happy when it falls. I know
what am saying those who received money from abroad like dollar or pounds what
is your reactions when you change it and the money is much and when you do it
the otherwise what is your reaction.
Thanks let us think wise in this country so
that we can move forward let’s stop fooling ourselves this we continues latter
thanks.
